Is the result of a lab art project featuring 12 monochrome four-course meals, including three drinks. Inspired by Maria Turner, a character in Paul Auster's novel *Leviathan*, we designed this cookbook around colors. Artist Sophie Calle portrayed Maria, cooking, and documenting her monochrome diet—one color for each day of the week. Her inspiring work raised the question: What does it taste like to eat only one color? Do colors automatically determine taste? We decided that the only way to truly capture this idea of tasting a color would be to create a series with a complete menu, including drinks.
